the place has a distinct chinese reataurant feel comparable to other chinese places. i really love the food there and the service was fast! unlike other restos where you are asked to wait for 20-25minutes, but here all our orders arrived in less than 15mins! the waiters were polite and always smiled while serving. we will be coming back again to dine here!

We just arrived from a long trip abroad and have been longing for familiar Filipino comfort food and this restaurant did not disappoint. We love their patatim, lumpia shanghai, salted egg shirmps and cream of corn soup with quail eggs. The hot tea served before meals was something we missed. Cravings satisfied. Food and service was excellent.

We did our Thanksgiving party last December 2024 in this restaurant and as a first timer, I was impressed by their food and service. From the reservation to the very end of the service I am very amazed. Food is great and my favorite is their Kikiam, Shrimp in Salted Egg and Yangchow. Of course their famous large Siopao, a must try! Kudos to their very hardworking staff. The downside for me is that the restaurant is very crowded and limited parking only. Much better not to bring your own car and just go there via Grab or maybe Move It motorcycle ride. If I have the chance again I will definitely go back to this restaurant. Delicious food and Happy Tummy indeed.

We came as a group in the morning 9am for brunch. There is paid street parking managed by the Manila City Hall. The staff of Emerald are very polite, welcoming and attentive. We are lucky to be served by the head waiter who is very knowledgeable in the items from the menu and give his recommendations as well. We ordered the jumbo siopao for take away together with our dine in orders in fear of getting finished early, as lots pf customers are ordering siopao for takeout. All the dishes are served quickly, tasty and delicious. The prices are average and very reasonable for the food quality and taste. The servings we ordered are Small but they are definitely good for sharing for 2-3 persons! Emerald definitely is a must visit place in Roxas Boulevard Manila for your Chinese food cravings but most especially for their famous very big and super meaty jumbo siopao.

The ambiance is good for family or casual dining. You can held a company meeting or social event within the place. The food we ordered came fast and served hot. It taste good and you'll feel the chinese vibe in their cuisine.

Surprisingly excellent Chinese Restaurant. From outside, it looks like a low profile outlet, but top notch once you have their food and experience their service. Must try their Jumbo Siopao - literally JUMBO and super delicious.

Had a great dining experience at Emerald Restaurant. The pata tim was very tender and flavorful, and the chicken feet were delicious—truly fall-off-the-bone. The broccoli with garlic sauce was simple but surprisingly good, while the Yang Chow rice was just okay. The ambiance is casual and comfortable, perfect for a relaxed meal. The staff were helpful, and special thanks to Ms. Kim for being very polite and friendly—her service really stood out. You definitely can’t leave without ordering their famous Jumbo Siopao. It’s massive and easily good for 2–3 people, with a very generous amount of filling—meat-packed and satisfying in every bite. The ratio of bun to filling is spot on, making it a standout and a must-try at Emerald.

This is one of my hubby's family's favourite restaurants. I think the tradition has now been passed on to us because this is our go-to place whenever we are around Manila. Food: Servings have always been so generous and made with care! The dishes are savory and delicious. They do not just fill our bellies, they also make us happy. Service: The crew promptly address all our concerns. Despite the place being busy, wait time for requests are still very minimal. They are very efficient. The security guard was also very helpful when we needed help with parking. Ambiance: The tables are not so cramped so each group of diners still get a bit of privacy even when the restaurant is busy. Patrons are not rowdy as well. Overall, our experience when dining in Emerald is always pleasant. We highly recommend this place.

I don’t know why but I always end up eating at great places most of the time. This was different. Really surprised me. I asked a couple of things that were off menu and they delivered. Great staff. Clean restaurant. Food was great. I suggest to order the medium size for food as it’s good for 4 people. At the end we didn’t even finish our food, but everything was cooked to perfection, even better than what I was accustomed to. Maybe only thing that they can do better is the atmosphere. I think the furniture and lighting is a bit too old, modernizing it would attract even more customers. But as a whole for the experience, it is still a 5/5 for me
